STI Drivetrain swap double check
Hey guys after last sundays bully-vard cruise my clutch unfortunatly took a dump. I have done all my research and decided to do a USDM STI 6-speed swap into my 06wrx. I know everyone is going to tell me to use the search button, which i have done. All i am looking to do is get a double check from a couple people that have done it before dropping some serious coin on parts. I am on a limited budget and will be selling my (still in one peice) 5spd setup to offset the cost. The parts list is as follows
Car = 2006 WRX Conservative at 340whp (will one day upgrade to gt35r) Parts List -07 STI 6speed with 3:90 Final Drive 1:1:1 Center Diff -06 R180 3:54 Limited slip Rear diff -06 Sti Driveshaft (scored on ebay $25 Shipped) -STI Shift Linkage -DCCD Controller from DCCDpro.com -ACT Flywheel -ACT 6-puck clutch Please feel free to leave corrective comments if needed. Anybody on here do the swap? Any tips/tricks on installs? Thanks for the help guys. |
