HELP! CF Hood Problem

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

CF Hood Problem so i just got an AMAZING deal on an oem carbon fiber hood. i couldnt wait to put it on so i just got home and took my hood off. when i put the cf one on, the bolts went in but wouldnt screw. i thought stripped or no threads, but there are threads. my stock bolts are just ever so thinner than the threads on the hood. anyone else have this problem, or know how i could get an accurate size of a bolt so i dont have to bring the hood to home depot tomorrow. one more thing.. any certain bolts i should get, to avoid rust/breaking bolts? thanks alot guys __________________ To view links or images in signatures your post count must be 10 or greater.
