UTI, ATC, LTI are they worth the time or money?

Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Protege v2.5 Tri-State Addict Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: SoLanCo Member #7303 My Ride: 2016 Mazda 6 iTrader: (1)	UTI, ATC, LTI are they worth the time or money? So its a general question about the automotive training schools in the area. Universal Training Institute and Automotive Training center in Exton and Lincoln Tech in Philly. The general consensus I'm getting about these schools are that they are horrible. Poor Student/Teacher ratio, outdated equipment, Lack of knowledge and experience from the instructors. Basically more money goes into production of the infomercials then the actual schools. Obviously a recruiter is gonna tell me none of this is true just to get me to sign up. Does anyone have any insight that is different from this? I checked around the forum couldn't really find any info
