Has anyone ever taken percocets? Legally...

Well I had surgery last Tuesday and I was perscribed percocets (10/325?) for pain. I've been taking them as directed, 1-2 (I've been taking one) every 4 hours as needed, everyday. I've read all the side effects and stuff and I've noticed I've been a bit moody lately. Not my usual self. Of course, I'm a girl so a lot of you are going to say things like, "Well of course you're a moody bitch blah blah blah." but this is different. I've never felt like this ever and really starting to scare me.
I'm depressed, miserable, tired and lazy, I've been snapping at everyone for no reason and saying things I really shouldn't be saying and that's not me. The only reason I can think is it's these pills. I really hate it because I need to take them for the pain because it's that bad. I can't take anything with asprin and l'm pretty much immune to acitaminophen/ibuprophen and all that so there's nothing else I can do. My doctor gave me a liquid form of Vikodin as a substitute but it makes me sick to my stomach and if I throw up I'm risking ripping out my stitches.
So I guess the point of this is to ask and see if other people have noticed these mood changes while on percocets and to try to find a solution. I've tried to talk to people about it and apparently I'm impossible to be around right now. I need to vent and just get it all out of my system or something.

/rant.
