LGT goes to Cobb Stage 2 . . . First thoughts
So as the title suggests, I have gone to Stage 2 (sorry Troll, had Precision Tuning do the work) and here are some initial opinions.
Parts used: 1. PDE up-pipe 2. Cobb catless down-pipe 3. Re-flash to Stage 2 v1.15 The parts are extremely well made and I have no doubt that they will stand the abuse over time. Wow, what a difference over stage 1. The first thing I noticed was the noise. You can hear the turbo like its in the passenger seat. This was followed by drampatically improved turbo spool. The decrease in restriction really gets the turbo going quickly. There is more power in the entire power spectrum. Hitting 110mph is just sooooo effortless (accidentally hit it on the highway). This is changed over stage 1 where there was a loss in power between 40 and 50 when light on the throttle. So far, no catalitic smell so that makes me happy. The car is an absolute dream. Running very fast (especially with the cold weather). I can't say enough about this car, it's the real deal. Speed and comfort. I can't wait to see what my Automatic puts down at the track.
