in a pinch. HELP?

i signed up early and paid the 50 dollars for your drift event this sunday. everything was going good, i was ready to rip it up in my turbo 240...
today i took my 240 out for a drive, and all of a sudden the car is sounding like a subaru. i thought i blew out a piston or something.
still running, just very weak, i get home and try to figure something out. none of the spark plugs look odd, and the car still starts and runs, no knocking.
i talk with a buddy and we come to the conclusion that the timing chain skipped a tooth. great. so i start ripping into it, knowing it has to be ready for sunday. rad and fans out, power steerings out, IC piping is out, valve covers off, alternator, tension pullys out...

i go to try the main pulley and, no luck. i have 3 different pullers and none of them will work. looking back, i used wood and a mallot to put this unorthodox pulley on, so its not coming off anytime soon. so forget it.

onto the next idea, i have an s12 200sx thats been sitting and waiting for action. im gonna insure and register it tomorrow, and get it running again. it should be fine for reading this sunday and etown the week after.

only problem i see is, its got an open diff. so theres no way i can use it for this sunday... UNLESS I GET THE SPIDER GEARS WELDED...

can you hook me up???

i would try to get a refund but i dont think they will give it up since its this weekend. and for a guy with no job, 50 dollars shouldnt go to TOTAL waste...

but id rather participate anyway.

thanks
