test drove a 2010 sti special edition aspen white today

so me and the wife are in the market for a new suby, trading in her 08 mitsu lancer. so we went to the dealer that i have my vip setup at and took an '10 sti special edition, first impression was omg we getting this. so after a few miles the wife jumped in the drivers seat, since this car is for her. my 04 motor is being fully built so she needs a car that will somewhat keep up. so anyhow she gets in we go out onto the road and the 3rd light we get to we stop and then some ass hat rearends us as the light turns green.. we didnt move yet so he saw the other cars started to move. so the guy gets out and was like o sorry i looked down at my phone didnt realize you guys didnt move yet... im like wtf! so call cops and dealer since the sales guy let us test drive by ourself. so we take it back to dealer and now we wait till monday to see what payments we will have. the bumper only needs to be replaced as the license plate screws punctured the bumper.

Wow my parents always told me "if you break it you buy it" however I don't think I've ever heard if someone else breaks it you buy it. New concept.

However either way great purchase. New bumper and all.

yes we had the blue sti, it had navigation and and spt cat back. they were asking 43k for it, but not sure how much the let it go for..

sales had a bad weekend. apparently at midnight on saturday a drunk driver went straight up the curb at the turn, and went right into our used car lot. smashed back a saturn suv and basically totaled it. an lgt next to it flew back and has some good road rash on the front bumper. large pond rocks went everywhere and almost every car on the front line now has a large dent, scratch, crack in a window, or a combination of the three, or multiple incidents. as far as getting money off for the car being hit, see what you can get, we complained to the salesmen today about it for you, possibly another 3k would be available but dont quote me on it its at the body shop now waiting for a bumper, which should be in tomorrow, but they have to hold off for a bit because it should end up being an insurance job. they just need the police report.

FYI. The VIP Executive program is 2% below invoice. 4% below is DEAD COST. Any lower than that is red ink... or paying the customer to take a car
There's BARELY 3.5K (3,144 to be exact lol)markup on the WHOLE car, let alone 3K below Executive VIP
