that's right, a bunch of us over on PS are trying to get a race day setup at Atco for some action at the track. i posted this over on ImpalaSSforums but lack of interest from them has led me here to you guys. being a very diverse site, i think we can get some great matchups going for a fun day at the track. i checked Atco's schedule and it seems as though they have an event scheduled for every sat until late sept/early nov. so we debated it and figured Nov 7th would be best for most people to get their cars ready for the track and the cooler air should provide us with optimal conditions.

so waddya say boyz, feel up to making some passes?

^ sweet. i'll update this thread with a list of people from here and what time to be there....etc it's a regular test n tune day so IIRC IT should only be $15-20 to run that day

It is always fun to beat up on some mustangs so i am in. jk. Should have the fast z done by then. I was going to post something soon about doing a street car shootout event. They just started doing this in rochester ny and it is pretty cool. They have 5 or so index classes and run a pro tree. this year they are having 15 and slower, 13.5 - 15, 12.5 - 13.5, 11.5- 12.5, 10.5 - 11.5, and 10 or quicker. closest to index wins and if you go faster you lose. Car has to be inspected. I think that it would be pretty big down here.

It should be fun either way. I was just giving ideas to get a bunch of people to come with different cars.

^ that's what i was thinking. just hang out and have fun at the track and see what our cars will do, maybe throw in some grudge matches in as well. i'm getting anxious as each day passes and my parts start to trickle in. i'm trying to do a **** load of mods at once, so i need as much time as i can and then TRY to schedule a retune before the track day.

I'm down. Even if my car isn't done by then I'll atleast stop by to watch and chat with everyone. With atco being so close to everyone we should get a good turnout.

^ lol yeah they'll be there. there are always a few people who drop out last minute but that's become almost routine haha. if 20 people say they're coming i predict 12 to show up. besides we haven't had hardly any track days this year so some of the guys are chomping at the bit to go.

I'm in also, but on the PS side. By then it should be turbo'd and caged and running at least low 11's.
