Short notice but 4 of us thus far are going down to Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix tonight at around 6:30, anyone and everyone is welcome to meet us there and check out how a proper racing go kart handles

Be warned, these are Sodi racing carts with r compound tires that once heated up stick like glue. If you do more than 2 races you will be sore the next day or two from the amount of cornering g forces these things will be putting on your body, it's oh so fun!

can't go, but how hard are those puppies to steer? I went to the place in oaks and my freakin arms and hands were sore from trying to steer! the steering wheels were so stiff, you had to put you whole body into it to turn it a lil.

Turning the steering wheel is super smooth, holding onto it once you're set in a corner generating probably around 2 g's is where your arms get a work out and the fun begins

Anyone make it out? I finally ran quicker than 22.200 in the regular karts so I was able to give the super karts a whirl, good lord they move! My quickest with the regular kart was 22.1, in the super kart I got down to 21.9, but I actually like the regular karts better as they are much more twitchy and punish you for any little mistake because they have less power. In the super kart you can be more sloppy because it has so much more power.

na..i used to work there lol..i would like to run the league but i dont get off work in time to make it down there. but i do run the 3hr enduros from time to time.
