like i wonder

the World Series (baseball) what country won? its the WORLD series right? everybody in the world plays, right?

or

you go to a mc donalds and buy everything on the menu and get a diet coke?

but now im currently thinking

while at war, wouldn't it be wise to send soldiers with the knowledge of the language of the enemy, so that way, they can pretend to not know what there saying and plan a nice back up plan. this goes especially to ground troops because they're faced with the most action...

World Series... last time i check, the USA was not the entirety of the World... no other countries compete, therefore... it really shouldn't be called "World Series"

its called world series because all the best players in the world play in the mlb.

If you think your the 'best', you'll play in the country that has the best of that sport.

Clearly apparent in world futbol but little to nobody knows anything about soccer.

but how can it be a world series when the whole world doesnt compete?

just like the super bowl world champions. there are other football leauges throughout the world that they dont play against.
