Went to Atco, timeslips, vid, image of log

Well went to Atco after not going for almost a year just to get some passes in. The first pass I went to do the burn out revved it up to 5500-6000rpm dropped the clutch, rpm's went up and I went no where. I pulled up to the line and I could smell the clutch. Launched the car and it definetly felt like It was slipping. I only did two other runs after that and they all felt like the clutch was slipping. The car didn't feel grabby like it should between gears. So I just went home. I wasn't to happy with myself.

The only vid I got and my very first from inside the car. Don't mind me constantly shaking my shifter. Its a bad habit of mine at the strip. It was the second pass

The three passes of the night. I was really suprised at the turnout, I only had to wait a few minutes between runs. The first pass was with a very nice supercharged white M3. It had gold HRE wheels with some carbon fiber front splitters. The other two runs where with a very clean Charcoal (85 or 87 can't remember) Camaro. Really cool older guy. #110

The log from run number 2

Yeah, Tial 38 open. Its a Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W100. It takes ok vids.

No it wasn't that cool. On my palm the temps read something like 80 something at the AFM and 100 at the throttle body. I don't know how the Palm viewer got them messed up. I think I have to change the parameters on the computer. Input analog 1 is the wideband.

I do have to make some changes to the fuel curve. I like to keep it in the low 11's. Keeping it around there has been ok for me. If I have it in the 10's it feels really sluggish for me.

I think I might have to go back to the .96 turbine housing. The .81 might be choking me some. I'll see after I swap the clutch.

it looks like you are on the brink of 12:1 at redline and closer after every gear..Car is awesome BTW, I wish I had better luck with my wankels

What type of file extension does you logger output as? If you can view them with dataloglab you would be full of win!!

It saves as a .pdb file? I'm not to sure what that means. LoL..

I'm going to look closer at the logs.

There is one of the spots.

I also see the one when I first get into the gear around 5500.

When I get the chance hopefully I can get to my back road and do some slight tuning.

From the logs it doesn't look like the clutch is slipping much if at all really. No reason to worry about being a little tiny bit over 12:1 for blips of time at 11psi, or honestly ever really.

What tires were you on, you're cutting some decent 60s.

I was on some Mickey Thompson drag radials, 255/50R16. If I was to do it over again I would've went with the ET Streets.

I don't know, I get worried when I see 11.8-9's. I know some guys like the keep rotaries in the high 10's for safety, but then again those guys are running 15psi+.

Ha, that's right, it's a rotary. That totally skipped my mind. I don't have much experience around those engines, but I do know they like to run a bit richer. Still, you are on a lower boost pressure so it shouldn't be a huge deal. I've seen guys running 12.5 at 28psi on piston engines with no issues so eh.

All depends on compression and what rotors and seals..I'm guessing series 4 engine with stock seals..I would honestly want it at no higher then 11.3 on pumpgas..Race gas (116*) about 12.5:1..Just keep in mind the E-shaft likes to go wobbly after ~450whp on alot of cars..Just throw some fuel up top to be safe, rotary engine do not react very well to detonation and theres no need to risk it, the power difference is not much in that area..

I dont know much aside from DSM when it comes to tuning, but from my experiences with that great program it's almost too much information that you think things aren't working properly and it's because your seeing such detail with so many values that if you don't know the sciences behind how the things work, it starts getting frustrating being a new user.

Anyway, my wideband reads lean at idle but my ecu says stoich and my wideband is a new UEGO with no exhaust or boost leaks. As for WOT fuel I tune to like 10.4 so your A/F to me would be far too lean to be a safe street car. But thats just comparing to a 4g63 DSM motor, though I would think that 11+ would still be somewhat lean no matter the gasoline engine.

EDIT: I also forgot that's for 20-30psi as well. The more boost, the better the tune has to be.

Your traps are matching your E.T.'s and your 60's are very consistant and your are still gaining 25mph on the back half. It has to be the tune.

Cool videos by the way! Did you get cleared yet?

Monday is my medical clearance. I just put in paperwork to push back the RNLTD to Jan. I don't know if i'm going to get my passports back in time and some other **** for outprocessing.

I found out my ignition box is dead and I was only running on Trailing plugs! I don't know how longs its been dead. I think it was intermittent though because sometimes my vacuum readings would be different and the idle exhaust note would sound different. Put it back to stock and it pulls great. Ordered a new box and headed to a dyno to see if it actually does make a difference.
