Some people may not know that the factory mitsubishi vortex generator on the EVO was extensively tested to serve a purpose. This is an awesome read with all of the wind tunnel testing showing pictures, data, and the idea behind the vortex generator. Alot of people buy aftermarket but I'm not so sure they are fully functional as the factory unit. As you can see it almost totally removes the low pressure area behind the rear window directing more air over the spoiler for a decent increase in downforce at speed.
