Storm Pics from ocnj last night

we lost power last night from about 730 til 4ish this morning. the corner next to our house was basically flooded during the rain. lightning struck about 5 houses down and knocked down a wire and lightning hit on the blocks on both side of ours too. to make it all better there was a gas leak at the end of our alley too so there was all kinds of problems going on and the block was closed off. it was funny how many times the police had to use their speakers to tell people to get out of the water trying to walk down to see what happened cuz of the live wire hanging down

Nice shots.. i was tempted to try and get some lightning pics but i was lazy and didn't want to get wet

(the watermark is cool, but i would think needs to be a bit more opaque to really protect the image more) just my $.02
