I hate cars :(...well my integra
My car makes me angry, I honestly dont know what I want to do with it. I want it to be quick....it dosent have to be fast but quicker. Its a non-vtec integra and yea its kinda slow. I keep bouncing back and fourth on what i want to do with it. Turbo? Supercharge? LS/Vtec? I honestly dont know. I was thinking about going Ls-V, I can get a GSR head for $230 with I/m and t/b, good conditon its an 01 with 55k miles. But ill want to upgrade the bottom end and honestly anyone know how hard it is to install aftermarket pistons? I sure as hell dont. I think my friends and I could do the head install. I dont know if I should just go out there and get the head, it'll wipe out my exra money and ill still have money to live off of (im in college). I just dont wanna go outta my way and pick up this head and then be ****ed over and not use it. Anyone help? Guide me in a path. Id be happy with 200-250whp, i have a 142 at the crank now

turbo the stock LS
pistons aren't that easy... u need to bore/align hone, then install overbore pistons for the best seal.

That's not totally true. If there's up/down scratches, then you should bore, but if there's still only cross hatching because you took care of the car really well, then just a hone should do it with stock size pistons.

NOSSSSSSSSSSS!
You need two of these, and Harry, you need them by tonight! Nah seriously, that will make your goal for cheap. That or get a turbo for your current motor. Don't think you need to buy internals since you can just run low boost and be ok. Check your compression and make sure your engine is running in good condition before you do anything to affect its reliability.

I vote for a mild turboing as well, I've heard the standard LS heads do well with forced induction. Don't get too big a turbo though, lag is a bitch.

You could grab the GT17 turbo off a Saab 9-5 in a junk yard. There good for like 230-250 hp and have very little lag. I think it uses a T25 flange, oil and water cooled, good turbo.
