AutoX - Warminster Again - 5-4-08

If there's a thread about this already, ooooops. Couldn't find one though.

I'll be there all day, working waivers in the morning and then running 4th heat and trying out new tires. Hope to take some good pics of the first 3 heats since some went unphotographed (or at least, un-posted) last time.

Run groups:
Morning Groups:
Heat 1 - Group C - SS, AS, BS, CS, DS, ES, PRO, Porsche Club
Heat 2 - Group D - FS, GS, HS, SM2, ASP, BSP, FSAE, All Prepared Classes

Afternoon Groups:
Heat 3 - Group A - STS2, STX, STU, STU2, All Mod Classes
Heat 4 - Group B - STS, CSP, DSP, ESP, FSP, SM

The official thread full of information is here:
http://www.phillyscca.com/forum/view...php?f=8&t=4137

It's supposed to rain but so far the forecasts for all philly and nj events this season have been the exact opposite of the actual weather, so...screw it, I'm going. Who else?

I'll be there in the morning, but I will not run (again). Look for a red saab with gold wheels or a guy in a saab racing jacket.

What number are you running Roadkilled?

I probably will not be out, I have way to much crap around the house that needs completing. Not to mention my tires are shot... First event was like a oil slick for me-

...and in keeping with the above mentioned weather pattern for this season, the forecast is now for 30% chance scattered morning showers, sunny all afternoon. Knock on wood.

PaleDSM, what engine/exhaust is in your mr2, assuming it was the obscenely loud one. Sounded awesome, whatever it is.

Yeah, I was the only Spyder there today. The exhaust is a Team Moon dual with a JNZ race downpipe. I kinda like it at times and at others it is a little loud. I may throw a high flow cat on the car and see how that changes things. Thanks though!

There was an entire Porsche class in the AM session! Very cool.

Yeah, I can see it being very annoying...but it was a sound I never expected to hear coming from a spyder.

Anyone looking at this thread that wants pics, PM me with your car number. 1st, 2nd and 3rd heats only.

Edit: ****! Shooting in manual mode with a tripod, and I left the image type set to 'standard', aka 'pitiful' on a 4 year old point'n'shoot. Not really worth looking at >
