Looking to create a weekly Quakertown meet. We used to have 100+ weekly at the Quakertown pool (and Nester's a year or so before that). Anyone interested?

need alittle more info. there use to be one at the pool but who know what happened to that. nestor was nice as **** but retards f'd that up. more info and you might get a better response

I was thinking of re-creating the weekly Wednesday pool meets @ 8PM. They used to be huge, and I'd like for them to come to that size again.

Not gonna happen. The police had a hand in the demise of that meet last year. Too many jackasses waking up the neighbors.

Actually, that's the reason you really can't have a Q-town meet. Too many jackasses. A whole damn town of rednecks and ricers to screw it up for the good people.

That is correct ^^^^. I friend of mine is a Q-town police officer and they used to "allow" the Nester's meets, which I used to attend as well, until they got to out of control. The thing at the pool was never really "allowed", although I had heard it was going on. but either way, it would be cool to get something going again in the area. I wonder if we could get away with meeting in front of the old ACME next to Walmart. There is no business in there right now and the cops might not care all that much. Plus, it's kinda far back off the highway. Any thoughts? We really just need a night and a time and a few people. You know how these work, it'll be huge in weeks ....

That's actually the best plan yet. No neighbors to piss off and lower visibility might make it a better spot.

Im sure a few people from montgomeryville area would go up theres no other meets around on wed. down here its just borders on thurs.

Several times, and they were terrible. 5-8 guys isn't a 'meet'.

Last couple of meets have been 30+ cars. I don't see it getting any smaller either, and so far we don't really have any issues with ricers.

I drove through Quakertown last night because I was bored. The Acme lot is nice, would probably be a pretty good spot for a meet. Only problem is that it's right next to Walmart... Walmart is a breeding place for ricers and rednecks alike, but at least it's out of view of 309.

I say we give it a try, if it goes well it goes well if it fails it fails. Won't hurt to try for sure.

Side note, does anyone know wtf was going on over at Wawa last night around 11? There were like 10-15 cars parked over there.

Pool meets? Where the heck were they held?

I'd go to a Qtown meet. There really aren't a lot of tuners in Qtown though, so we're liable to attract a lot of ****.

I may live an hour from Q town, but my dads shop is right on rt 309 and I know of a few people who live near there. I wouldn't mind attending once in awhile when school is over.

Well, it was called B&F auto parts and sales, but now is a scrap yard called Prospect Metal. I'm sure you have seen the infamous Batmobile and/or the Guerilla there at one time. They no longer sell parts or anything. Now they buy junk cars, and scrap metal over the scale. Cars are up to 10.00 a hundred pounds!

Anyone remember the Guerilla and/or Batmobile by a chance?

i know that spot, every time i drove by that 55-56 F-100 truck that was out for sale i drooled over it, i hang out in Coopersburg almost every fri night.
