yea i have been seeing this video everywhere. Im not going to say that cops suck and cops are out of control, but i think he took his job a little far. His job isnt to teach respect but to protect the community.

And i never really under stood the whole concept behind "confiscating" a skateboard. Sarge, can ya help me there? Isnt that kind of like stealing? it isnt evidence.

how do you know he's out of control? the video cuts on with him already pissed asking why they were ignoring him, for all you know he had been chasing them around. plus you can't hear the audio of the kid but it appears as if he's giving him lip

not suppost to be skating there in bmore, they can just take it if you are skating anyway

I never understood how confiscating personal property isn't considered theft when a cop does it. Must be nice to get to make up the rules as you go along.

there are signs posted that you can't skate there

it's no different than walking around smoking a bowl, if a cop sees you he will take your pipe

Right, my point is more about the whole, taking your personal property rather than whether or not skating was allowed there. And a cop is gonna do a lot more than just take your bowl if he sees you walking around smoking up.

You know what I have seen 14 years who talked back and yelled and swore at cops- they deserve that kind of treatment. That kid looked like he was just an oblivious 14 year old and he was too rough on him...

as for the cop. what a douche. rather than messing with 14 year olds, they should be out patrolling for more serious issues.
