Un****cking believable.

Shopping around for insurance as I'm not totally comfortable with what I have right now from Geico. It's ok but not great.

Did the whole online thing for allstate, was quoted 588.xx every 6 months. Good ****, so I call to purchase it. Lady starts telling me that half of the stuff that I chose is not actually available and so that she'd have to change things. So I figure ok whatever a couple of bucks for minor changes. Then she asks me how much my insurance paid out for my accident...

"Uh... my insurance didn't pay out anything," I told her. She says "well how's that, it's an at fault accident." OHHHHH HELLS no it wasn't!! So apparantly whoever did the paperwork for when the guy ran the stop sign and hit me they wrote it in as my fault. How the hell this passed I have no idea.

So, after all this bs the lady goes to me "ok, you're new quote is 2045.xx every 6 months, would you like to purchase?"

I'll leave my answer to everyone's imagination. ****ing bull****.

Next time tell the guy to rear end if you if he's not going to stop. That will make it simple.

2045/6 months is about what I was paying for the X5 and the 03 cobra.

How is it an at fault accident? I stopped at the stop sign (4 way stop sign), proceeded through and was hit damn near head on by someone who blew his. If that's an at fault I'll go castrate the person who thought that up right now.

Anyway, back to the phone I go...

I'm happy with state farm. Granted, I've never been in an accident and both my cars are over 20yrs old on limited coverage, my rate is quite respectable($71/month). Rate decrease every 6 months for no claim. They just seem to be the best of of all the big name companies. Offices everywhere and they surely do'nt advertise as much as geico or esurance, although I bet advertisement is peanuts for those firms.
Anyway, if the thought of AIG enters your mind, banish that thought as if it were a little kid you caught smearing poop on your door handles.

consider yourself lucky....remember my accident? I had to fight 7 months to get it off as an at fault....which it clearly wasn't.

What a bitch that was though, ugh.

I've got 2 at fault accidents... I pay roughly $780 every 6 months with Geico... but that is bare minimum coverage. I used to be paying around $680 every 6 months with Erie and that covered everything. Even replaced my CF hood on the 2nd accident when they then dropped me LOL.
