emissions fine

Say you were to get pulled over and its noticed you have no catalytic converter.

Whats the fine like for this and how serious is the offense?

also how likely is someone to get pulled over and their exhaust checked for this anyways

You can not change or remove any part of the exhaust system from you vehicle the fine is set by the court.

If your vehicle is not loud or smokey small chance you will be stopped for just that.

If the officer that stops you knows what he or she is looking for you could get summons.

Is also possable that the officer will tow your car off the road for being "unsafe" whereas you will have tow to a repaire shop and have it fixed before it can be put back on the road.

Most likely you'll get a ticket and your chops busted everytime that officer sees you driving that car.

why would i get a ticket every time he sees my car thats ridiculous. I dont think i have ever heard of someone getting pulled over for the exhaust smelling, its really not that noticable once its warmed up and running normal. It wont be too loud or anything either because im not getting a huge can on the back, so i think i should be ok, dont you?

What I ment was you would get the summons the 1st time.

Then you would probable get stopped and checked by that officer or any one that knew you had taken off your catt. Whenever they saw you driving again.
