Oh wow. I should have read it first!

I know people who don't want to have kids for this reason, which I don't have a problem with, but having an abortion because of this reason is insane!!!!

with less children/humans in the world cancer wouldn't be such a a prominent feature in our "health culture", aids wouldn't be running amok, murder would be down, disease would be easier to control.

Not only would human life be less violent (disease wise anyway) but nature would be better all around. We are, in fact, the ones using more of the earth's resources in a year than it is able to provide in a year.

The human population is growing at an incredible rate, after the next 50-100 years we'll either be culling the weak or simply instituting breeding licenses.

Which honestly isn't a bad idea. We're no longer following the rules of nature, survival of the fittest... survival of all is not good for a species.

I kinda blame orthodox religious people, and social security, while both have their positives, they have negatives.

Social security- a lot of the people on it ****-a-lot cause they know that they dont have to work...social security will pay for it, and if it doenst, they will just sell drugs to feed their kids and not get a real job, and their 6+ kids grow up around it and do the same thing and it just grows

Religion- Lots of these orthadox families will have the wives just pop out kids one after one after one, and before you know it, they have 9 kids running around who are taught nothing except god god god, and they grow up being the same

Its not the only 2 things, but its the 2 things that come to mind first. My parents said they read a rumor that Social Security may not be around when time comes for our generation to retire because of Baby Boomers and things like what I talked about above...I really think that to be on social security, you have to go through a thorough background check to make sure you really need it...it seems like a lot of the people on it are just lazy.

edit: There should be some new law that says you cant have more kids than you can financially support....that way at least social security wont be going to **** as the rumors say. I also think abortions should only be allowed in certain situations like rape victims, etc...there are plenty of other contraceptive methods for people to be responsible it should only be allowed if the pregnancy happened by force

I didnt say it was all of them...I said it was lots of them...personally I used to go to a sinagogue with my grandma when I was younger just to spend friday nights...well in the 4 years I went there, 3 couples there had 4-5 kids during the course of that time....thats not normal I think..

That didnt make sense to me. Kind of we wont, but if we do. But seeing that China limits the amount of children a family can have, and you need to apply to have one, it seems that to limit breeding here would, in effect, be a move towards something China does.
