R.I.P Blaire
for those of us who come to the thursday night vw/audi gtg at stoneycreek this person had a red cobra mustang, and if u do know him than u know who im talking about, he was killed last night in a accident in springfield, he went head on with a 60 year old man in a volvo and both were killed instantly, he will be missed greatly and was always a happy person, its a shame to hear this. all of us like to have fun with our cars but sometimes we dont realize that we risk our lives when we do some of the things we do. so i dont hear that im losing another friend due to drag racing or anything auto related lets try to be safe out there and think before u drop a gear.

Its a shame he didn't hit a telephone pole instead So now two families are losing someone, one of which wasn't involved in racing... I feel bad for both families involved... but your friend died a killer |

I hate to heae you guys say that, yes what Blaire did may not have been the smartest thing and it may have caused a man to die.But if you have ever met the kid you would think twice about what you say. Blaire graduated a year ahead of me and i knew him from being from the same neighborhood as him. I never like hung out would him or anything but he would stop by me and my buddies house just to shoot the **** and talk cars and he always had cool cars including this cobra. I spent most of the day at the scene of the accident and talked with some of his family. It was a very bad day in the community, the accident was horrible and his beautiful Cobra was mangled.
He was one of the nicest kids i have ever met and i knew if i ever needed help with my car or just someone to talk cars with he would be around. He was a good kid. This is a horrible tradegy and im so sorry for both of the families. RIP BLAIRE |

I also was friends with Blair, he went to my high school. He was one of the nicest kids I've met, always had a smile on his face. He hit a Toyota Avalon, not a Volvo. The man died at the hospital, Blair died on impact. This happened a few blocks from my house, and it is a true tragedy.
So for both families, and respect.. let's not turn this thread into a pissing match. RIP budd Last edited by doug; 10-17-2007 at 07:14 PM. |

that sucks to hear, but sucks even more that he took another life. i'm not bashing him, but this kind of thing sucks to hear. not saying he was a bad person cause probably every single person on this board has raced at one point. myself included. he was just unlucky

Some guy I don't really know comes on to the forum saying someone they knew was drag racing and killed himself and someone else. And that person said nothing about the older guy dying, only "RIP Blair". So I gave my opinion, now someone else says he wasn't drag racing and there is more to it than what was told... Perhaps people shouldn't open their mouth about an accident when they don't know the full story themselves. I'm posting this so you all know I'm not the biggest douche ever. The OP made it seem like the only loss, to him, was this kid with the cobra... And if he wasn't drag racing, I take back my comments. But if he was... they stick. If he was racing on the streets illegally... he killed this guy. If it was an accident, it was an accident |

Blair was just a really nice guy that would talk to you about anything, anywhere, and whenever. i cant count how many times i bumped into him on the road and we just pulled over and talked. He really was always smiling, and he really loved cars. He was a good kid... and I was very shocked to hear the occurrances and the outcome. Absolute shame, delco guys.. I'll be home tomorrow from the shore, so I'll hopefully make the get together. I was going to come home tonight, but a friend of Blair's just told me not to drive upset and come back tomorrow.
RIP Blair, and the man who also died in this tragic accident |
