Woo hoo it's back!!!

For those of you who don't know, the Civic in my avatar got totalled by someone who ran a stop sign. So I ended up buying an EK hatch not too long after, this weekend we put my built engine/trans/turbo stuff in.

Basic setup.

D16Z6
Stock sleeves
75mm Vitara pistons
Eagle rods
New OEM bearings/pumps
Zex 59300 cam
Zex Valve springs
(Engine was built for ~$1200 total)

D16Y8 transmission
OBX LSD
stock 1st
stock 2nd
1.346 ZC 3rd
1.033 CRX HF 4th
.771 CRX Si 5th

Turbo
T3T04e 57trim .63AR Stage 3 wheel
CCfab Ramhorn Manifold
Tial 38mm
Custom 3" downpipe and full 3" exhaust
2.5" IC piping
PWR 24x12x3 FMIC
Synapse BOV (this thing is awesome!)
BLOX Intake manifold

Fuel/Tuning
Precision 780cc injectors
Walbro 255lhp Pump
Hondata S300
Tuned by me

Misc.
ETD traction bars
RSMachines rad w/ Proform slimfan
GE vacuum manifold
APEXi AVCR EBC
PLX M300

That's all the important stuff. My dad and I dropped the old engine, put the new one in along with all of the turbo setup, modified the exhaust and wired up the boost controller/wideband/gauges in about 20 hours overall.

Next step is track and dyno.

Very cool.

How does it run?

A good replacement for the old one?

is that an xs power turbo kit. only reason i ask is my buddy bought one for his 2000 integra. He got it off ebay for like 1000 bucks for the whole kit. well since he put it on the car runs ****ty and when tuned and everything only runs for a month before it fries the pistons. just curious looks good though.

far far from any ebay turbo kit.

about time you got that engine back in the car. i take you missed the turbo, having to drive a cx with no balls ... lol.

good luck with it and it looks a whole lot better now.

p.s. -- how about that ride

Only thing on the car from Ebay is the charge piping, everything else is the real deal. Garrett turbo, Tial wastegate, CCfab Ramhorn, PWR intercooler, Synapse BOV.

Jason - thanks dude. Yeah driving the CX sucked lol, I threw my dad the keys last night, omg, I have to take a video camera next time he drives it his reaction is absolutely priceless.

Just by looking at the mod list it doesn't look like a cheap Chinese turbo kit.

Car looks great! Looks like fun in that little car.

I'm very torn between the two, but the hatch is beginning to grow on me considerably.

James, thanks again for running down for me. Much appreciated.

I'm gonna try to make it out to some local meets soon for sure though.
