favoriate restaurants
i just went on a date tonight and wanted to see what you guys favored as far as restaurants go. i searched for a thread like this and didnt find one. sorry if its a re-post. we went to old city (cuba libre) for dinner then dave and busters for some video gaming. some of my other favoriates in the philly area are tangerine, buddakan, and if i dont wanna spend as much $ villa de roma in south philly. post up where you guys like to go!

I like Highlawn, it's in NNJ. It's a suit and tie place. Nice view of the NY Skyline and perfect service.

It seems like a lot of people like some expensive places. I enjoy good food, but I don't have the best stomach so I don't waste too much money on expensive places (insert comment about money an toilets here). Sullivan's steakhouse has some good steaks. It was expensive, but truthfully for the price it was not worth it to me. Outback Steakhouse for a good, reasonably price dinner. Texas Roadhouse for the same as outback (I ate here in Rhode Island, so I'm not sure if there are any around here). Carraba's for good Italian. I hate Italian Pasta, so this place is good for some good chicken dishes. The calamari is awesome as well. My GF doesn't like seafood, so I usually have a snack for the next day. PF Chang's for some good Asian food. Hibatchi for good food and entertainment (the cooking). It's even better if you have the right amount of people to fill a whole table, otherwise you are with strangers.

If you aren't looking for Philly and prefer the suburbs.
Right now my most favorite place to eat is Funky Little Kitchen in Pottstown. It is a BYOB and the food is incredible. Although they have a small menu and it changes frequently. Going again on Friday. Usually under $100 (for 2 people) for food and of course wine is BYOB. If you prefer a little more high class. I like Savona. With drinks its going to be closer to $250+ (or 2 people). When I lived in the city, I frequented: The Saloon - BEST STEAK I have ever had but expensive (think more then ruth chris etc.) Luckily it was always on the company tab. Morimoto - Company Tab El Vez - Company Tab Jones - if you are on a budget Anything else Steven Starr (Buddakan et al) La famiglia - A very good old school Italian type. Radicchio - A very good BYOB - Company Tab Upstairs at Virelli's was pretty good, but my fiancee got sick there.

The Gardenville Inn. The bartender and the owners walk around the place smoking and drinking. Great food. My kind of place.
