Official Feb Meet!!!!! Everyone has to go!!

This meet is from www.philadelphiadsm.com My brother told me about it and i had to come post it up on here. Everyone has to make it out to this. This will be an awesome time. Im going to call and see if a group rate can be setup. It looks to me like the website is stating $1000 to rent out the track all day with 15 carts. Sounds like alot of money but if you get 30 people it comes to about $35 a person! Sounds good to me.

Date: Saturday February 26th
Time: Be there by 12:00- until we get kicked out!
Place: Arnolds go karts
Goal: To be crowned the Champion of Tristate Tuners.

You know what, you sound gay! , yellow cars are for girls.. lol, im j/p. You should come out, they have overhead display above the track to show lap times and ****, and they track your times for the end, and you get a printout of the results, its really cool.

so whats the turnout looking like from phillydsm and how much does it cost? if you can, tell us a bit about the track and the karts. i'm definitely interested, but curious too .

I want to go so bad. I will have to see what my work says, i already have requested off for the 24th and 27th for concerts. I dont know if they will let me have off 3 of the four nights i normally work. But i will try, ive always wanted to go to this place, i hear its amazing!!

I have to join pete... as much fun as it would be i cant miss that much work in one week. I need money and the concerts are already paid for and will be amazing.

We should try and set one of these up later in the summer when we have more members are more people willing to attend meets. We could easily get 35 people then, and the cruise down would be alot of fun.

I mean, even if we dont rent it out, hanging out in the parking lot for a little bit, then taking 1 or 2 runs with everyone else would be fun! Think of it sorta as a competition. See who is the best gokart driver on phillydsm/TST ... as they track lap times... so we can have a competition

we should try to get enough people to rent the whole thing out. i would pay $35 but probably not any more than that so lets aim for a minimum of 30 people. of course we'd be driving, then hanging out, then driving, then hanging out so 15 cars is plenty for even 45 people. spread the word and lets do this .

damn you ash i was too late on the correction. yes its the 26th. i was simply relaying info. i got the 25th off the dsm site. its def the sat the 26th i updated it in the first post. i also have update the list.

I don't know if someone actually spoke to the track, or not, but it seems that $1000 is their HOURLY rate for Fri-Sun.

We have been there for an SRT Meet before. Nice track. Good guys, and if you convince them to open up the carts to their full potential, you have an even better time.

I dunno about their pricing, but I can't afford to shell out the $35 rite now! Hope you have fun!

i dont believe its an hr that would be crazy! like i said im going to call. hopefully tomorrow i will get ahold of him. right now inspection is the thing on my mind. then i will be on the road. i will try and call saturday.
