im sorry man, if you dont have health insurance, its most likely by choice... its really easy to get a job with benefits. and you seem like you have some kind of brain so why not get a job with benefits?

Michael Moore FTL.
It's not my job to buy health care for everyone. Especially when I know the same people who are pushing for "universal care" will object to me wanting those who smoke, drink, are obese or severely overweight to pay a higher price because it might be a violation of their prvacy. I take care of myself, I am not obligated to take care of those who CHOOSE to live an unhealthy life style.

Honestly I get angry watching people go to places to get free healthcare etc etc when they seem perfectly healthy. I could've used my tax money for something else other than helping people who choose not to help themselves.

Sweet so when I got out of college and was looking for a job for about a year, and couldn't afford health insurance on my measly part-time salary I should just rot in hell then? I guess the same should have been true when I finished grad school.
All you people who can't afford health insurance die already would you and save the rest of us the trouble of worrying about whether you deserve to live or not. |

In between college and my first job was about a year with no health insurance (I couldn't afford the Cobra payments), in between grad school and my current job was six months, however my school health insurance ran out just before I started my new job, so I had month in between when my health insurance ended and my new job started and then I had to wait 3 months for my benefits to kick in.

it seems more like people would rather not take the benefits from their job in order to have a larger paycheck. well boo hoo. i was able to balance college and two jobs, so dont complain to me about measly pay and so forth
