So why would I run -3 up front? Certianly not because other people do. 95% of people driving hooked up cars have no clue how alignment and suspension components effect handling. No need for -3 up front, and DEFINITELY not in back.

I mean that's good for autocross, but it looks like ****

We will see about the fenders.....it's only 20 mm, less than an inch

Things like fenders, camber are all personal preference...so far I have done everything on this car based on what I wanted, starting with spending all of my money on suspension components. Now it handles really well and I am glad I made those choices

If you want me to go into why you need more camber in the front on a MacP car, then I will, but I would rather not because I've said it so many times before. And I've modeled the front suspension and if the car is low, like man style ride height, you're going to have positive camber gain in jounce, which will be amplified in roll. I'm not saying to run more camber because of looks, it's because of suspension kinematics and how the tire is loaded.

So if you think the car handles well now, a proper alignment and setup would make it handle better.

And fenders, if you have 20mm overs and you're wheels are sunken, it's going to look gay. You don't want that. So based on that last picture you posted, if you're running proper camber, and the fenders, like I said before, at least a 25mm spacer to make them look right.

Ok agreed on the suspension movement, I thought you were saying camber for looks....

I really hate the look of that much camber, so maybe -2 or so I will go with up front.

Rear should be pretty flush...I will post pics with my real wheels just to see how gay or decent it looks

Also, even though the top may be sunken in about an inch, the bottom would be sunken in no matter what....the bottom back corner of the front bumper on this kit sticks out pretty far

We will see....I'm not super fussy about this stuff....hesitant to run spacers, as I have heard it puts alot of stress on the studs

17x9 +0 is good fitment on the rear, may need a little pull, but with a 15mm spacer im sure it would look great...

and streeteg, thats positive camber lol

17x9 +0 AND a 15 mm spacer in back?!?!? I have regular fenders in back, and as you saw in my above picture, i am essentially flush with x9 +17

I am a HUGE fan of flushness, but once the tire starts to stick out past the fender, I hate that look....seems like x9 +0 with a 15 mm spacer would stick out another inch and a half....i'm not going for that look

Oh ok, i was gonna say that is getting out there!

Eh i agree....like you said, I would then need a bit more pull/camber

Right now, I have only a little pull, and have maybe like -1.5 rear camber...

If i drop the car all the way down, the sidewall brushes the inner edge of the fender (right where the sidewall meets the rim lip)

I could push the wheels out more with offset or spacers like you said, but i want to keep the ride height i have now....

Now we are arguing over halves of inches hahaha

I hope you are or know a good fiberglass guy. Those panel gaps and fitment are a bit rough out of the box. Should come out nicely though once it is fitted and cleaned up and painted.

Thanks....I think alot of the gaps look worse because of the mismatched colors....but yeah you are right

Also, some pictures with my Work Emotions on....just to see how flush the wheels are

Fronts are a bit sunken....also, need an alignment, and springs aren't perfectly settled after jacking up the car, so it will sit a bit lower up front:

Seaps, the car needs more CAMBER!!!!!!

You need to run a wider wheel/lower offset combo with a super stretched tire to get that 240 look.

Its lookin good. I was wondering if you ever swapped the Sr20 in. You were doing it what the day after the AutoX at boeing when Nick and E swapped hoods and we never heard if you did it or not. Looks like the car is coming along well
