im considering having a small detail day at my house... ie. having people over to wash/wax/clean/vacuum their cars... but this would definitely have to be limited to a small group of cars to be worked on... 4-5 max... the amount of people can obviously be a few more... but id still like to keep it small... it will be a mainly BYOP "bring your own products" ... because i can not and will not supply the needed product for that many cars at once... im thinking this could be an all day thing... like arrive at about 7-8am at my house... and use the rest of the day to do as we see fit... if you have any questions or if you are interested in attending such a thing.. post up...

im honestly not sure yet... i need to run it by my parents... since its their house... chris... perhaps we could turn it into some kind of tutorial day? .. just a thought...

Sure, I could answer questions, show people some tips, etc. You're probably close to 2 hours from me though, so I'd have to figure out when would be best, unless we get a closer location. i could probably still do it, just needs to be planned well ya know.

I need to do something like this, my paint has been totally neglected for 6 months now. Depending on when it is I'm interested... Coatesville isn't TOO far. Good idea anyway.

when everyone is done let me know...my car doesnt leave my garage while im cleaning/detailing until its completely done.....and i cant just watch everyone else do there thing ...but id be up for somethin afterwards

John, I would come if you have any room left. LMK. Im not very good at detailing for some reason and would like to get some tips and watch some one who knows how. Il help out alot but ya gota point me in the right direction.

I'd do it, since the car needs a good detailing anyway. But, how the hell will I fit a vacuum in my car? Haha. Can you supply vacuums?

And as far as waxing goes. I just chuck a bunch on the car, and start the buffer up and do whatever. Seems to work good haha.

i have a shop vac.. but it would be ideal if others brought one or two... like i said this is going to be a very small event.

I need to stock up on stuff. Threw out all my supplies when I moved since I had no place to detail anymore. Anyone recommend a certain line of products to use? We should rent a powerwasher for this Jon. Id chip in, dont know if your roommates would dig the idea.
