I have one on my CRX...
with the original D16a6 motor it was pretty quiet, at idle it is only slightly louder than stock...normal driving its quiet but you can tell the car has an exhaust...but when you mash the pedal it opens up good tone/sound with the B18b it was pretty much the same but the tone was even deeper sounding, with the turbo its even quieter...other than the exhaust leak at the end of my downpipe...lol its a very nice exhaust, its SS so your car will rust out before the exhaust...my friend has a WS2 exhaust on his VX hatch and it is just as nice and even quieter than my thermal...

jesse Id say do something along the lines of Apex'i World Sport or Greddy SP2 both look awesome and are small, not canister style, and sound awesome. I really like the WS.

The fit/finish on the Thermal is top notch. Full stainless steel, all polished, fitment is perfect. The exhaust isn't raspy; it'll have a nice tone without being obnoxious.
