Anyone know anything bout sidekicks?

Bout' two days ago, my kick started shutting on and off. It resets all the time, and now it wont load all the downloaded ringtones i had, and now it wont even get full service. [A sidekick as 2 things of service, enough service that itll be able to call and text, and another to get internet and AIM acsess]

It wont get full service now, it doesnt shutt off as much anymore, but it wont get full service, and in order for my phone book and settings to load i need full service.

So maybe, MAYBE someone can help, thanks.

ha... siqq subie is having very similar issues with hers... maybe you can brainstorm and try to figure it out

lol, idk whats wrong, so i wouldt know where to start. Its annoying cause erytime it restarts its not on silent and plays realllyyy loud intro music in the beginning, and that sucks when im at work lol

yeah i didnt finish reading the thread maybe you solved it by then but mine JUST F-ING restarted like 40 times tonight i couldnt keep a signal either. and all my saved emails and text messages are GONE and my contacts dont show up anymore...

All your contacts, messages, email, pics, ringtones, games, ect.. will return as soon as your service does. They tend to lose service for short periods of times whenever they update, which they've had to do more often because of all the sidekick customers. Any problems prepaid or not contact 611 immediately, they don't have craploads of awards for customer service for no reason. I've been with tmobile since they were voicestream,(they blew) they've come along way. Customer service is top knotch. Gl with your problems.

i was having the same problems with service yestarday, but im messaging on it now, call Tmobile tho, their cust service has been good so far, see what they have to say

dude this happened to me, i went out and bought a sidekick 3 yesterday, i had a feeling it wasnt just my phone but the network. i dunno whether to return it now or what. i lost all my pictures too but i retrieved them on mytmobile.com or whatever.

when it shut off and on when u go onto aim ur name wasnt there and all ur texts were deleted right?

on my sk3 its not loading the catalog all the time too, if this never happened i wouldnt of gotten a new phone, but its a really nice phone and id hate to go backlol

Juss wait it out, i kinda thought it was there network, its happed to me before, but never over a few days.

yea, maybe its juss tmobile having problems rite now? I have pre paid, so they wont do **** for me. i cant wait to get off tmobile and pre paid as it is.

Well, your first problem is that you are on TMobile using a sidekick

/sacarsm

I know a lot of my friends have issues with their sidekicks, and a couple of em jumped ship to other providers, who have similar phones. If you have the option to, dive off TMobile, and look at other providers with QWERTY style phones.

i love my sidekick, and it helps me out rite now, eventually, yes, now, no lol.

Thanks for that thread, it basically explained my problems, but now idk how to fix it lol

it was happening to me saturday at noon, happened like 5 times in a row so i said eff it and upgraded an hour later

on the sk forum they said they are doin updates on the software or whatever u wana call it, should be fine by tomorrow

u need a monthly plan, and after 9 months or something u can renew ur contract for 2 more years and they give u the phone cheaper
