Getting sticker adhesive off...
Alright, I finally got off the one sticker that was on my car since I bought it... Problem is there is some adhesive left over...
What kind of stuff could I use to remove the adhesive without damaging the paint/clear?

yea goo gone will probably do that job, just going to have to put a little elbow grease in it. I hear you can buy a bottle for about $30 haha

Listen to redline. I had to take off over 100 barbie stickers on my buddies GTI a while ago. Gone Goo is the cure.

200 proof is a little abrasive don't you think, J/K but I would never use it. A mild solvent is all you need.

goo gone is in a tiny bottle, for about $3 bucks, can be found at pathmark, acme, pep boys, etc. It'll last for years, a little bit goes a long way

Yeah dude, $3 and its gone! And it is easy for relatively new stickers. If it has been in the sun for years then you might need to soak for a while. Either way when the adhesive is removed hit it with a good polish like 3M and you will never see a reflection again!

I've used goo gone, goof off, and wd-40. They all work.
But whatever you do, be sure to wax the area afterwards.

3m makes an adhesive remover. I used it when I removed my Clear Bra off of my car. It will not harm or cloud the paint. It is made for automotive uses. You can pick it up at Pepboys.

You could go out and buy an expensive can of some kind of crap, or you could get a hair dryer, heat it up for a few seconds, wipe it clean. Spend saved money on beer.

depending on how bad the residue is....use car polish with a pad. if its pretty heavy, use a solvent, then wash the area, then polish it. ( i detail cars for a living and do this everyday lol), if it doesnt work i have some other ideas you can try
