I want to do the valve stem seals on my DSM, only problem is that the compressor that i have won't fit down into the head.
Anyone have any suggestions on what to do for this little problem?

Yeah, thats for when the head is off of the engine. I don't want to pull the head til lthe spring time. Gonna swap out the whole enigne at once.
I made something up with some old sockets, and a BBQ tool. I'll post pictures of it in action tomorrow.

It works pretty well, but the thin metal for the handle bends too easy, I'm gonna make it a bit stronger at work tomorrow.
Got 4 valves done before it was too mangled to use.

your trying to pressureize it so the valves dont fall? Pull the center out of a spark plug, and make an adaptor to hook to your air line.

No no, i have the compression tester kit with the adaptor to pressurize the cylinders.
I was having a problem where the valve spring compressor would not fit in the head. The tool to do this is about 200 bucks, so I made my own tool to compress the springs and remove the seals.
