someone keeps egging my car

and its really starting to piss me off! anyone have any suggestions on what i can do about it? i have to have my car parked on the street since there's nowhere else to park it. i was thinking about buying some type of security camera and recorder, but i have no clue about any of that stuff.

i might know who is doing it, but i have no proof.

Me being my insomniac self would stay up the whole night and watch if they are doing it every night. but i guess cameras are the conveinent way too.

We had a similar problem. What I did was got some friends, beer and paintball guns with frozen paintballs. Sat out around the car/house in the bushes behind the trees and so on and waited for them to come. It took a few nights but they came. Once they walked up to the car/house and bagan to throw eggs we ambushed them and started pelting the hell out of them with the paintball guns. One got away but two fell to the ground in pain. Not going to go into details of what happened next but it involved zip ties, rope and spray paint. Lets just say they never came back and we never had a problem again.

Surprised they didn't sue...they probably would have won too.

I would get a security camera/motion spot light. That way you had video evidence when you go to the police. I realize it's your baby that they are egging but waiting for them then jumping them can get you into legal trouble, especially if you are an adult and they are under 18.

dont listen to her. shes a big emotional tree hugging hippy. do what you wanna do. personally i like underpressure's story. maybe not shoot them with frozen paintballs (or a real gun) but tie them up and stuff. then call the cops haha.

Why frozen paintballs is so much fun. When I use to play back in 95-96 and people would come over to the house for scrimmage and would get hit multiple times and the balls would not break it was like they were getting stung by bees. ALl jumping around trying to figure out why it hurt so bad. I would be It was fun as ****.


On a side note if you decide to go the paint ball route I have a really nice silencer that all you here is a tiny pss. It works really well.

me 2. get a camera too. so u can take pictures of them in the act (if u dont have a video camera).

I would also buy like 10 high-powered spotlights. places them all around the area of my car where the kids would be standing. When they come, I would turn on the spotlights and then spray 'em with a hose (i wouldn't use my paintball gun b/c that is morally wrong and why it took so long for paintball guns to become legal). i dunno, just and idea

IF it's on your property you can practically do whatever means necessary...it's your property.

If it's public ground...don't expect to shoot...then its' fully chargable.

Umm maybe if this was down south! Do you realize where you live? In one of the most liberal states in the US. You realize that if you have a pool, a burglar hops your fence, slips, dies from drowning, YOU (as the owner of the home) are responsible for his death right?

Trespassing is an offense by LAW, not by HOMEOWNER'S LAW. There is a difference between defending yourself and defending your assets with physical harm.

If there is someone in your home, just about anything goes. you can't shoot someone in the back, they have to be a threat, or believed to be a threat. Once they've exited the house it gets sketchy. Unless they are actually a threat to your life, you really can't do anything.

If they're egging your car..anything does not go. they aren't posing a threat. You have the right to defend your property to an extent. You can't beat someone to death over it, you really can't do a whole lot other than call the cops.

As I recall, if their back is toward you, you have to tell them you are armed and if they don't leave you will shoot them.

OP: if your car is parked near your house, you can get a security camera with a monitor and all for about 30-40 bucks at harbor freight

That happend to me back in HS with my eclipse. I ended up putting my video camera in the window, saw them egg it in a specific car and the cops busted them that night. They paid for a brand new paint job and I busted the kids jaw up a lil. Fun times but yea that sucks just try to catch them one night. If they do it on a daily basis you know they are coming back, wait for them in the car because they are not going to see you anyway.
