Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Join Date: Jan 2005 Member #136 My Ride: 1997 Eagle Talon iTrader: (21)	Front row seats to AMS Alpha Omega GTR wheelie and test passes 2000hp AMS brought out their record setting, 7sec GTR known as Alpha Omega to the 21st Annual DSM/EVO/GTR shootout to make some exhibition passes. Luckily i had front row seats to the action and captured it pulling wheels twice on the one run which was incredible to see in person. Thing squats so hard its ridiculous. While it didn't run another 7sec pass (traction issues) it did run an 8.2 pass still slightly faster then the #2 GTR in the world that was also at the event. The car is obviously making power just needs more time to dial it in and get it consistent.
