Paint shop

I need a shop that can do minor body work/customization and a flat or semigloss black paint job for a good price. Maaco wants close to 3500 just fo the paint job.

If Maaco wants $3500, that's the lowest number you'll see. Flat and semigloss are very hard to do correctly and it costs a lot for quality work. You might end up paying less, but be prepared to see stripes.

If you take Maaco's price and add appropriately for the body work/customization, and are willing to pay that number for better quality than Maaco will ever put out, then PM me and we'll figure something out.

I work at a body shop in richlandtown (5 mins from quakertown) I guarantee we can work something out that will be way better than that price. 215 536 1370 tell them Andrew told you to call. Or send me a pm and we'll go from there.

*edit* are you talking about just spraying a flat/satin black sealer on the car or actually painting it black with base/clear with a flattening agent in the clear ?

Be careful where you go for this! There is no such thing as a good, cheap paint job unless you know the business owner because that is the only way you are going to get a hook up.

What kind of body work...
If you're going satin black ull prolly want the entire car redone...everything
Just to give an idea, if the car isn't brand new off the lot, to do the job"right" and my funds were unlimited
1. car would be stripped down to bare metal
2. Self etch/wash primer
3. Fix all body imperfections
4. Surface primer the repaired areas
5. Sand repaired areas
6. Seal the car
7.base/flat
8. Wait one summer to realize uv rays hate flat/satin colors

It gets pretty extensive when it comes to body work, not everyone knows that(not trying to bash on you)

Basically if you want a simple paint job take it to maaco, seriously that's what I'm doing 317 for single stage and sealer is a pretty bangin deal

Other than that...bring it to restoration shop
Marquis in ne philadelphia is pretty sick he's very expensive but the work they do is one of the best out there
