I have it in the transmission and differential in the Z and the BMW. Put anything else in your car and it will hate you. Buy it at A&A Auto Parts. I have Mobil 1 in the trans of the Tiburon and will be changing it over soon.

I have it in my VW. When its cold out it really notchy when changing gears. Once the fluid warms up its fine. I never really noticed a difference between whatever was in there stock vs redline.

Cold-notchyness is the main thing I hear about, especially on VWs.

And gsnar, your "My Ride:" should probably say "USDM", not "USMD".

JSC Speed has you covered

There are several types of tranny fluids, which were you looking into? Oils with friction modifiers will lessen grinding.

i have a 50/50 mix in my trans. 2 qts redline lightweight shockproof (smurfsblood) and 2qts motul gear300 75w90. the redline makes everything shift smoother, run quieter and just perform better overall. when you hear subaru people talk about the tranny cocktail its mainly great because of the shockproof. overall i rate redline 10/10 and its cheaper than motul ahah

I just had a chat with Red Line. They are familiar with the popularity of Syncromesh fluids being used in Honda. Their tech recommends MTL for it's similar viscosity and friction modifiers. We always have it in stock.

i use mobil1 in my srt. We are supposed to use atf with FM but it was determined to be a waste. Mobil1 is the best stuff ive ever used in both my SRT's and Ive used RP before.

Its good stuff, I use it in my trans, t-case and rear. I've been using it for about 2 years now. Compared to Lucas, amsoil, royal purple and a couple other brands, I would recommend Redline.
