Bleeder valve
I just did the pads on a car i bought but i could not get the bleeder valves to turn at all when trying to bleed the brake system. Im not looking to buy calipers since they seem to be in decent condition. I sprayed WD-40 on them about three times each, about 10 minutes apart. They cleaned up pretty well but the metal seems to be too soft, the socket is stripping and the plyers' teeth are digging in. I dont want to mutilate the things. Any suggestions on what to do?

I would try to put some heat on it with a torch, don't go too hot though.
No reason to use pliers, just the proper size 6 point socket. |
