car?

2JZ price

buddy has a 944 with the stock n/a motor on its last legs. we're planning on engine swapping it with an ls1. which would be sick but while we were going over the logistics the thought of how sick a car like that would be with a 2jz popped into my head.

what do running motors generally go for with all the electronics they need?

Skip the 2J and go with the 1J, forged parts from the factory if I remember correctly. Give a shout-out in our vendor section, there is quite a few of them that'd be able to help you out.

as said above 2jzge are pretty cheap....i've seen them go anywhere from 300-600 bucks and could net you 600-700hp if u go na-t and with a good tune on stock internals.

on the other hand the above price for a GTE sounds about right and will net u even more HP but for the price a GE-T sounds more appealing.

Stick with the LS -trust me.

We sell a SICK spun steel bellhousing to mate a LS to 944 tube easily too. http://www.quicktimeinc.com/products.html (scroll down) We also have a 2JZ to T56 bell

It would be cool if you could put a boxer motor in it. But 2j is a good motor.

why a boxer motor? that would just complicate everything with no real gain... inlines are more efficient
