I guess I fend fairly well. my benefits are as follows:

very comprehensive medical, dental, eye care, life insurance, short term and long term disability. (about $50 every pay period which is 2 weeks)

2 1/2 weeks Paid vacation per year compounded bi-weekly. as well as 14 days of "discreationary" time which is used as sick time, personal days, etc.

401K With a company match. not sure about the rate. It just changed but I dont know the new rate.

Employee Stock purchase Program. Opportunity to purchase stock at a discount rate. Max buy in of a few thousand shares every year (blackout purchase dates apply)

And now for the best benefit ever

Vendor accomodation programs: The oportunity to purchase consumer electronics direct from the manufacturers at savings ranging from 50-90% off of retail.

Let me help ya there Jon...

We get TONS of benefits... most notably....
Paid vacation, sick days and personal days...I'm over 5 years so I"m eligable for a total of 26 days!! And we get paid for unused sick time....

Our choice of about 5 different medical plans. I have Blue Cross PPO for my wife, baby, and myself = 75.00 per every 2 weeks...
You guys that say you have 'free' benefits...just curious...what are your coverages like? For instance... You need an operation.... it costs 10,000... you have to pay 10%... Is it 100% for everything? 90? 80?.....Ours is 90-100% depending on procedure.
401K with 100% company match up to 6%..but you can contribute upto 17.
Free digital cable, internet, and phone service. Free and 1/2 price ppv.
Employee stock purchase program at 15% off of the lowest price during the quarter...
Employee pricing on GM, FORD and all subsidiaries.
Discounted Nextel phones and service (40%-phones 20% services.)
Discounts on Panasonic and other name brands at 30-80%.

All in all i'd rate our medical coverage excellent. My wife spent 7 weeks in the hospital on bedrest with our baby...that plus the birth totalled over 75,000 dollars. We paid 2000. Not too shabby.

Brian, just know that your benefits are only there while you work there. ESPECIALLY, the life insurance. The others are obvious, but your life is term. So, as soon as you leave, it's gone. That is the crappy part. Paying into it, then losing it. If that is a big part to you, get some on your own. It will be at its cheapest right now, since you are still young.

I get my own work schedule, work from home, lifetime renewals, sent on vacations that are paid for, stock options, and stuffed animal ducks.

I'm an insurance agent, so if you guys have any questions about what you have, just send me a PM and I'll be happy to help you out. (Not trying to sell you. I live in Indiana and there is no way I'm going out there to help you out that much. hahaha. )

I work for the state....

If you add my sick, vacation, and personal days together I have 33 paid days off per year. Also I have 13 more days off for paid holidays. State has great benefits and I am not going to list everything. I also go on 2 week long trips per year. On one trip we always go to AC. The other trip always changes..... Cali, texas, georgia are some of the places they paid me to go.

I have multiple 60" wide color plotters that I can use at any time. 42" scanners, and so many other toys it is rediculous

The only benefit(s) i get from my job is that i can't wait to get up and do it all over again the next day. No dental, no health, no 401k.....just sanity.

I have pretty good benefits...Salary Employee, I don't pay 1 cent for any of my medical...but we'll see since currently I am not making a lot of money since this is my first full year here, my copays are pretty cheap, cheaper than when i was on my parents plan

401K 100% match up to 3% of my salary
2 weeks paid vacation (except i can;t use them in sweeps months...)
Unlimited personal/Sick days but can't abuse them...

Have my own studio w/ TV and internet, very laid back work environment, Frig is always full of beer go out for lunch for everyones birthday (only like 12 people) Free Sixers and Soul tickets usually one game but its cool.. Sweeps partys 3 months out of the years (Free food and Drinks) Christmass Bonus, there is probably more but I can't thinkof them right now...
