Decided to pick up some new toys!

I wanted something that I could go wheeling with and not destory my truck anymore with blowing wheel bears, ball joints, shocks, etc so I decided one day to just get quads. I had my cummins motor sitting in my garage not being used and I sold all my swap parts so I put it up on craigslist for a trade. A guy from PA offered me a special edition yamaha raptor 350 for trade. So me and my buddy loaded the engine into my truck and met the guy half way in NJ to do the trade. The quad was in mint condition when I got it with only 38 hours on it. After driving that for about a day I got bored with it and decided to just go out and buy a newer bigger quad. I went to my local dealer and looked at a few quads, Can Am 450 XXC/Honda utility quads/Polars Outlaw 525, and finally decided on a brand new Polaris 525 IRS. After going through with the buy they got a 08 Outlaw 525 IRS in and I got it for $2500 less than what a new one cost and it had nerf bars and shock covers on it already. I used the quad for trail riding so the Fox shocks and IRS make it very easy to ride in the terrain I go through. The quad has a lot of balls and pulls the front wheels off the ground with ease Enough with the rambling here are some ****ty pictures

The outlaw has fox shocks all the way around, sway bars, nerf bars, KTM powered 525cc motor, 5 speed with reverse, and a lot of nice features. Plans will be exhaust, intake and possible jets for now and when the motor finally goes then Ill do a 600cc big bore, cams, clutches, etc. But I want to upgrade the tires soon and get some HIDs since I do a lot of night riding.

As for the raptor Im selling it to my friend because he really wants a quad and the 350 fits him well since he's seen me on the 525 and is alright staying with the smaller of the quads lol

Lol yea the polaris is a mean looking quad and the motor does back up the looks. Yea without front fenders the mud does sling but gotta get dirty to have fun. I'm getting new front plastics for it soon because the other owner cut them off.

Good stuff! I miss all my quads.. How's the IRS handle as apposed to a solid rear axle? Fox shocks are no joke either..

The IRS handles most any terrain and with the 11" of ground clearance you cant go wrong lol The fox shocks are a big plus with the handling I have to adjust the suspension coming up this week right now its too stiff but still drifts nicely but not like a solid axle quad. Hopefully after I pay off the quad, credit cards and truck coming up Ill have more money to spend on suspension. I was looking at 450r's but didnt really like them too much for trail riding but my buddy has a nasty one that goes out with us.
