my friend just had his evo vii painted and wanted to snap a few shots. unfortunately i was battling horrid lighting conditions and did the best i could with white balancing, flash, etc.

quick back info on the evo vii. the previous owner equipped the car with a widebody because it was a show car. being unpleased with its appearance, he started sourcing out oem parts. he's having a hard time sourcing everything but he's slowly bringing it back to oem.

is it missing some kind of lip in the front?

if not it needs a lip i didnt look too bad with the wide body but oem looks alot better.

yup it's missing the oem lip. he's having trouble sourcing it out. i think he just found the bumper cut out inserts and is having them shipped from japan

The front bumper doesn't distinguish itself enough from the stock non-turbo base model LANCER.

Regardless of it looking like a base lancer or not. There is a lot of differences from an evo 8 or 9. handling and power-wise, even so much as the interior is different as far as the hvac is concerned.

That's what I wanted to do to my 8 when I had it. 7's are the pinnacle EVO for me.(would love to convert an 8 to a 7 RS, steel wheels and all)

yeah, my cousins car came a long way.

all of us in the crew try to devote as much time, money and love into our cars but its not as fast as everyone thinks when your on a part-time job and college student budget :S
