Need help...looking for a motorized scooter for the city

Im looking for a motorized scooter of some sort. Something street legal, that I can use to run from my apartment to work. Parking is a pain, so it would be nice if I could leave the car at home and just park a scooter. Would like something that goes a decent speed, but is reliable. Not really looking into getting a motorcycle though. Suggestions of companies to look at, beside vespa?

i'll second the ruckus idea. they're awesome. my friend has two, one he'll be putting up for sale soon. after some research if you decide the ruckus is for you i can tell him to hold it for you. it'll be cheap, definitely below what they're going for.

That bike would get stolen so fast in Philly...lol. IM also thinking about an older 70s honda motorcycle, maybe club racer style. Ide like to be able to go on the bigger roads with it, if need be.
