Some Updated Pics I Took Today

Had an opportunity to finally take some updated photos today. Still have some cleaning to do tomorrow before we head to Sonic in Ephrata.

I would lose the CF hood... it is a domestic not a JDM car... just doesn't look right, only JDM cars should have them.

Real intention was to lose the weight I added putting the front mount H/E in. However, everyone that has seen it loves the hood on the car.

why would you want to lose weight off the front end of a somewhat powerful fwd car? so you could spin more?

I agree stock hood would make your car way cleaner. I'm not a fan of the wing, but honestly don't think it looks too bad on the s/c's I have a huge problem with it on the t/c's

must be the wheels I guess...

It'll only spin from a dig!! The stock water to air system takes about a quart of coolant. The setup I have now used 1 3/4 gallons. When you hit the twisties you could feel the extra weight out on the front end. After I installed the hood if feels more civil again.

I say car looks nice. The hood never liked the Evo style on any other car but the Evo. If you want a CF hood why not get an OEM one. I am sure well known places carry them. Other then that looks nice. What are your future plans for the car.

You don't happen to live on 568 across from Walnut Glen do you? I'm a firefighter in Adamstown

Oh and keep the hood. Sets off the rest of the car. Too many stock looking Cobalts running around here.

I considered the OEM hood. Took me about 8 months to decide on which hood to purchase. I chose this one because of the functional vents. Should aid in keeping the IAT2s down and decrease the impact of heat soak. The only thing I plan on doing is a 50 shot dry and upgrade the clutch. I could spend all kinds of money but I will achieve my goal at that point.

Had me thinking until I saw 568......I live in PA. The sport red tincoat pearl on my balt looks great with this hood.....pictures really don't do it justice. It is a beautiful color...kinda like candy apple. Thanks for the kudos.

Well at least you bought it with function in mind, and that's all that matters. Sounds like it will be a quick little daily when it's done. Good luck keep it clean.

Those wheels look heavy, you could probably shed some weight with different wheels.

Looks alright, man. I'm not a huge fan of the hood, but it might look pretty sweet painted to match your whip.

Your brother will have his clutch in this week so after the break-in he will be able to spool that turbo up. You can ride shotgun and video tape.
