Hey guys what's your thoughts on buyin an Audi with 100k on it? Reliable should I worry about things, obviously it's a car so I check the regular things but anything related to Audi specific I should look for? Thanks

have the k03s(if it still has them) been replaced? timing belt? rest are typical things you would look at for a 100k car.. see if you can get maintenance history.

they are pretty typical to go out them, and its pricey to replace.(have to pull the engine) if you want to do it yourself, the whole front end comes off and pretty sure there is a writeup.

k04s seem to be more reliable for them IIRC

What's the difference between the two? Faster? Better spool?

K04's come stock on the RS4 and are a little bigger than the K03's. They're gonna spool roughly the same but the K04's won't run out of breath like the K03's do.

Wheel gap can be compared to a vaginaa. The more fingers you can stick in the worse off you are.

I think a big problem with the earlier turbo'd cars was the oil feed lines. The k03 is not an unreliable turbo.

I think most things were covered.. valve cover gaskets, timing belt, turbo's on this engine. Also clutch if it is a manual.

I wouldn't say its a bad price, but just consider the things it might need. Also motor mounts are probably shot... I could probably go on with a list all night. If you are looking for a DD car why not an A4 or something with a 1.8t AWD? easier and cheaper to work on

thought it was odd that the s4's k03s would die, mainly going off of what i heard since i dont have one.
