if you know am OO programming language you'd be fine... jsp is just Java and HTML. php, python, etc... if you know a programming language or at least the basics then you'd be fine. Most of the **** is proprietary anyway and anyone with programming language is going to have to learn our system

seriously guys... if you have any experience its worth a shot at sending me your resume. we're looking for 20 new developers. 20 intelligent people that have an understanding of programming, website building... html and css... we brought some dip**** in here for probably more than 50k (through a contract agency) that knew html and css about as well as a dog and he lasted a month before being let go.

depending on experience you can ask for anywhere between 50 and 100k salary at the leading (not technically leading lol) eCommerce company. our only, ONLY, competition is Amazon.com's ecommerce package.

and yes... i get a referral bonus. But its a great opportunity for someone with some knowledge and didn't know they could get paid so much doing it. Same opportunity that i had two years ago now.

Is this strictly a temporary thing or is this for a hired position? I'm just wondering because of you listing the duration as "6 months+".

i copy and pasted the recruitment email from a recruiter which would have been a temp to hire position.

going through me would be bypassing the recruitment company and interviewing for a full time salary position. granted, i'm not the one doing any sort of the decision making... i simply pass off resume's to the person doing the hiring. i just get the referral bonus ;)

Ok, sounds good. I was just looking for some clarification in case I come across anybody I know that could be interested.

I have a few years .NET desktop programming and play around with php/MySQL/ASP every now and then so I'll keep an eye on the jobs you post on here.

your experience would probably get you an interview regardless of not mentioning java.

we'll never have a .NET or ASP position here. php and mysql is highly unlikely as well even though we're trying to get started with php. if you're interested send over a resume and i can pass it along

Well Ken, I'll shoot you my resume tonight. Considering I make peanuts now (although getting parts at cost is nice), Subaru parts don't pay the mortgage!

A+ Net+ Linux+ MCSA Certified My main squeeze is freelance Network Administration/IT Consultant but I have experience with HTML, XHTML, CSS, SQL, PHP, VB as clients require me to develop applications/websites as well.

I'd be all over this If my priorities and current situation wasn't in the way. I can only hope that in the next 6 months, they(your employer) and others are still looking because I'll be sending resumes out like crazy around that time.

I'm half tempted... Though it would be a huge risk for me leaving a very secure job. I have experience in html, css, javascript, php, mysql, vb, c++ and took a course in jsp but wasn't a huge fan of it so never used it for anything outside the course. Whats the atmosphere like there?

nice atmosphere other than some things being over managed. coworkers are generally really good people. younger crowd... i have to believe most people are mid/late 20's early thirties.

job is secure as long as you're not a retard
