Sad to say that TriStateTuners will be going offline sometime around Oct. 15, 2024. After 20 years online, times have changed and its no secret that the forum's activity level has slowed to a crawl. Its been an incredible run with so many amazing friendships formed and community events held, plus all of the technical knowledge and entertainment shared online. I know I'm not the only one who has had both their personal and professional life impacted and improved significantly from this community, and I'm happy to have been a part of something so special. Thank you to so many people who volunteered to the community -- the entire moderating team, behind the scenes IT support, those who organized events, and everyone who contributed online to this unique local car community. I hope that many years after the prime of TST, many of you are still enjoying cars even if we are all "grown up" now. Please take the time to revisit your member journal and reminisce, or browse any other parts of the forum. Maybe reach out to an old friend or two and make plans to grab dinner and catch up. The timeline may change slightly but I wanted to get this notice up as quickly as possible to give everyone a bit of advance notice. Thanks for everything, TROLL

Mishimoto Vendor Join Date: Apr 2009 Member #12742 My Ride: 2008 EVO X, 1991 RHD J-Spec S13 (566RWHP) iTrader: (0)	How to: Install a Mishimoto Electric Fan Hey everyone! We thought it would be nice to post up a quick guide on how to wire up a Mishimoto Electric fan. We hope this is helpful and can answer any questions! MATERIALS NEEDED: - 1 x 5 post relay - 2 x 10 AMP fuses - 15 feet of 18 gauge wire Instructions: Run a 12 volt positive wire to the relay (put a 10amp fuse in this wire). The other side of this relay is the positive connection to the fan. The ground from your fan can be grounded to the body of the car. Make sure it’s a good ground. Find an accessory wire to tap off of. This is a wire that becomes hot when the key is in the “on” position. Tap a wire off of the found accessory and run it to the switching side of the relay (put a 10amp fuse in this wire), and then ground the other side of the switch. Wiring your fans like this will make them turn on when the key is in the “on” position (when the engine is running).
