I don't think anyone actually cares if they are spotted unless they bought the car for the soul purpose of having people look at them.

Like people in WRX's!

Actually, I always thought it was neat to see where people wind up seeing you. Sometimes it comes up as impromptu meets.

NAH. BRAH.

Most people care if they are spotted because that means some one is noticing their hard work also they could possibly find someone close to them or set up new meets..

Your soul purpose theory is dumb.

What hard work exactly, rims? exhaust?, most cars including my own are either stock or have the same thing done as every other car and aren't anything special. They did the work for themselves who cares what other people think about it. It's nice when people acknowledge it, but only when the acknowledgement is worthy, not for something like a stage II wrx, or a civic that's lowered and has exhaust. To be truly unique is more of a challenge then actually building the car.

once again NAH.

I don't know what is going on in your mind. Most of the time if a car gets a compliment or it stands out its because the driver spent his or her money that they worked for trying to make it unique or their style. When people get spotted they know someone supports what they are doing. Its motivation.

this thread was stupid, no one cares that they were in a parking lot doing donuts, their cars have to wait for snow to do donuts. If it was some one else seeing them other then them bragging it would be a completely different thread.

What's with all these people clogging up a spotted thread thinking they are cool talking smack with some lame cars? I find it funnier that you're bashing a spotted thread and why people put them up when you guys come in here and read the spotted threads.

spotted thread is for any car that stands out imo. rice, nice, race car getting towed, or anything that STANDS OUT. if its a civic that has nice wheels or lowered, it might be spotted. if its a 240 with a cage, it'll get spotted. if its a civic with all the neon light that looks like las vegas at night or if they got a spoiler from jcwhitney (ricer song), then it'll get spotted and pointed out.

if you happen to be the owner of the car that got spotted, then thats awesome. most of the time that user is a member here or its his friends car but usually most of the time theres a connection.

I guess some people don't understand that. It's a forum, if someone see's a car and they think they might be on here they'll post a spotted thread. Hell I've seen so many people post on here some sort of random car that has a hot chick in it. lol. I guess they think they are on here and they will be able to pick them up.
