2G Talon exhaust mani cracked; what a shock! lol

So my exhaust mani is cracked on my non turbo Talon ESi. I looked online and on eBay and found that cast and stainless run about the same price $80 or eBay cheap ones.

I'm not looking for any preformance as this is just a beater, but it def needs to be fixed. Since both are the same price what route would you go? Are the eBay ones complete crap?

Go get an ebay one, as long as you don't plan on putting a lot of load on the manifold/header itself than it shouldn't crack or have any issues.

Way to give someone bad advice guys....

never buy ebay stuff.. ever.
look around dsm talk and u will find all kinds of exh manis in good used condition.

some ppl have had luck with ebay but most have wasted money only to later go get quality parts.

if not dsm talk then search through galantvr4.org or any of a million other dsm forums.

im telling u that ebay is a bad idea always.

im telling u that it may be advertised as "cast iron" but the metal may in fact and probably will be some crap metal that has been weakened so bad that it will prob crack the second he turns the car on.

im saying go on dsm boards and find a cheap 2g oem mitsu exh mani.... hell he might even make a friend outta the whole deal
