Just picked up an 03 CBR 600RR!

super excited, finally i have a real motorcycle, coming from a 95 zx6c. got her for $2800 with 9k miles. new chain, tires, clutch. all stock except for hids, exhaust, and lowering link in the rear.

Nice. I'm thinking about picking another one up in late winter early spring. My gf doesn't know this yet and I may not even tell her lol. I see a break up in my future. But I used to rock a 2000 zx6r, so much fun, never got old and I rode it every chance I got.

it was a super good deal! its funny cause i just posted on here yesterday a wtb thread. just gotta be patient and keep a look out.

i feel like i went from driving an 89 malibu to a 09 vette. the difference is just incredable. it handles like a dream!

Looks good great price! Is the lowering link in the highest position because it looks like it is stock height which is a good thing

its on the highest link. guy said it is about an inch lower. i think ima put the stock link back on though, im tall so it not a problem and i hear it handles better that way.

good pick up! I never really liked how the CBR's feel for me. But nonetheless, great buy! It'll DEFINITELY perform/handle better at the stock height. Leave the lowering and stretching to the custom guys. If you wanna ride hard keep the bike stock with the exception of a sprocket and chain, velocity stacks and maybe a power commander. Make sure you check out all the maintenance on that thing too!

agree with the lowering ,, unless your short and new to riding try to get it back to factory height ...

but a powercommander will make a much bigger difference then the v-stacks will

nice bike !

I like lowered hondas. Both of my CBR's are lowered. The new one is lowered about 3/4 inch in the front and the rear is down 2 clicks. The rear lowered makes it feel much better IMO
