.:R32 Flapper mod

Picking up an R32 and i was wondering if any fellow vdubbers have ever done the flapper mod for the r32 and if you have can you tell me how??

what is the flapper mod? I did a flapper mod to my 328, but i doubt its the same thing lol.

take the vacuum actuator off (the black thing on the side of the pipe), opened it up (carefully because the plastic tabs are brittle), then put some 100MPH tape over the hole leading to the pipe.

just get one of those suit case clips or a zip tie and crimp the lil plastic tube connected to the flapper.

thats for MKIVs, but MKVs are diff i think

Careful with this mod you'll gain HP top end but lose low-end torque. That's why it's a two step exhaust but yes it does sound awesome. First you pop the hood, on the passenger side looking at the car there is a black vacuum hose that runs along the fire wall on the top of the engine bay. There is going to be a coupler that holds 2 hoses together. Seperate the coupler, then your going to plug the end closest to the passenger with a cap. Voila! Instant flapper mod.
