Need some advice on which shop I should go to for a safe, reliable tune (and install of a few minor items) for my Evo IX..

I've heard great things about Iveytune on EvoM, but not so great here. CBRD seems like it would be a good bet as well. I saw pics of CBRD's shop and was amazed..

I just can't decide. Discuss.

a good buddy of mine just got his VIII tuned at CBRD and said he was extremely satisfied and would recommend it.

No problem, I was in Ben's evo a couple weeks ago before he started switching over to the new setup. He did a 7500rpm launch, that thing was out!!! His new setup is gonna be rediculous

Definitely hit up peteyturbo, if for whatever reason you don't i'd go with CBRD.

We just installed the RC1200 injectors in his car and swithed it over to E85 yesterday.. We finish doing the turbo this week.

I don't have an Evo, but have both been in and driven cars tuned by PeteyTurbo and have heard nothing but good things.

He's your guy, extremely knowledgeable about Evos

I found out the hard way when I was getting on to 95 that boost hit hard and stayed hard, car felt solid!

we also have a mustang dyno here. if u need ur car tuned just give the shop a call ask for matt.

i cant say enough about pete as a friend, or his abilities as a tuner. wouldnt let anyone else touch my car

Get a wideband, cable and software and dive into it yourself. There are countless posts on EVOm about how to get started with the basics and what to adjust and look for. If you're not comfortable with that, Petey is definitely the man.

Just don't go to ivey, he will be late make yu wait then rush through it and say he is out of time. I always hear the same story but know nothing of pety but people here say good things.

haha, I wouldn't say beating on it, more or less merging onto 95 and had to get ahead of traffic. Took me by surprise

petey, what do you charge for a tune, if you don't mind me asking.
Once i get the idle/WBO2/clutch/laundry list of BS figured out, I need some go-to tuning!
DSM, 2.4 turbo, 280 cams, JMfab intake, 1150 injectors, dsmlink.

as clean as it can be in the woods of maine. unfortunately the bugs seem to enjoy suicide by evo, as the whole front end is covered in them

Petey doesn't tune dsm's, he won't even ride in or near them...
